Subler allows you to mux MP4 files meaning you can embed subtitles into. I have been playing solo and in co-op for very long now. More than 30 alternatives to choose: MetaX, ProVideoPlayer, Video Edit - Cut. I think it is/was a problem for some and not for all. It simply hasn't been a problem for me ever. I have never ever had an issue with hunting birds.
